1. Hank Burger
Hank Burger is the most popular place in Paris for vegan burgers. 100% of their menu is vegan and their set menu (burger, side and drink) costs 13€. They have five different burgers, all made with artisan bread. The ‘steak’ is bio and accompanied by vegan cheese and different vegetables such as tomatoes and onions.

2. L’Abattoir Végétal
L’Abattoir Végétal is well known in Paris for its delicious vegan food, and its Black Bean burger is no exception. It it made with beans, paprika flavoured beets, cashew cream (cashews are a great source of healthy fats), mushrooms and guacamole. It comes with home-made vegan mayonnaise and a side of sweet potato fries. A real treat!

3. East Side Burger
This restaurant takes inspiration from American fast food chains, but with a twist. It sells both vegetarian and vegan burgers for just €7 – an excellent price for central Paris. Notice that not everything on the menu is vegan, so it might be important to check the ingredients!

4. HD Diner
HD diner has a burger called ‘Las Végan’, with a ‘steak’ made of soya (one of the main sources of vegan protein) and vegan cheese. It also comes with peppers, coriander and onions, and a tomato and basil sauce. The chips are home-made, and also delicious.

5. Gentle Gourmet Café
This cafe is one of the best places in Paris for vegan food. They do a burger called ‘Le Fameux’ made with mushrooms seasoned with thyme and garlic, marinated and then roasted. The mayonnaise is vegan and home-made using ingredients such as tarragon and tomato. The bread is also home-made and toasted, and has chilli baked into it. This burger costs €20.90 but it really is delicious.
