1) Arc de Triomphe

Despite it seeming a bit of a daunting task, the climb up the 284 steps is worth it for the view of Paris that you get. While walking around the rooftop of this famous French monument, you are graced by a panoramic view of Paris with the Eiffel Tower sticking out of the Parisian skyline beautifully. On top of that, you can see down the 12 boulevards that come off it, including the Champs-Elysées and La Défense in the distance.

2) Parvis des Droits de l’Homme – Trocadéro

The Place du Trocadéro gives you a quite simply breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower, especially if you go there either at sunrise, when the sun is rising behind it, or at night when it lights up. If you head down the steps to the Warsaw Fountains just in front of the ‘Parvis des droits de l’homme’ the view is equally special.

3) Rue Saint Dominique

Rue Saint Dominique is a busy Parisian street in the 7th arrondissement and it is great for spotting the ‘Iron Lady’ from afar as it pokes out from the rooftops. The view is even more impressive at night as it twinkles against the nights sky, during the light show. The light show takes place every hour for 5 minutes, every evening.

4) Pont de Bir Hakeim

As this Metro station is located closest to the Eiffel Tower, the walkway under the bridge offers great views of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. This place has become a popular spot for people getting their wedding photos and it’s easy to see why. The bridge itself is quite spectacular with its arches and it has been in big films like ‘Inception’!

5) Parc de Belleville

Despite being located in the 20th arrondissement and, therefore, on the other side of Paris to the Eiffel Tower, the views of the famous monument and the city itself are amazing due to its high vantage point. Check out this location with some friends, enjoy a picnic and appreciate the stunning view this park offers you.

6) Tour Montparnasse

This building in the 15th arrondissement is not the most aesthetically pleasing in Paris, but once you enter it and get up high to the 56th floor you will forget all about that. The 360° views it offers of Paris are stunning and by being in the building it means you can see all the nicer parts the city has to offer!

7) Printemps Haussmann

The cafe on the terrace of this department store offers stunning views of Paris including sites like the Sacré Coeur and of course the Eiffel Tower. Take a break from shopping, grab a coffee and a bite to eat, relax and enjoy the view from the terrace.

8) Champ de Mars

The most obvious place to travel to in order to get a great view the Eiffel Tower is to the location itself. The Champ de Mars is the green area just in front of the Eiffel Tower. This spot allows you to appreciate the sheer scale of the grand structure, whilst also giving you the perfect view of it.

9) River boat cruise on the Seine

A cruise along the river Seine must be one of the best ways to see the numerous monuments Paris has to offer. The cruises usually last a couple hours and can be for a guided tour or a meal in one of the boats with a restaurant aboard. Either way you’re bound to get a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. Sit back and enjoy all that Paris has to offer.
 

10) Mont Valérian in Suresnes

If you want a view of Paris that is less touristy than the other options, then this is the place you should visit. This fortress located outside of Paris, in Suresnes, is perhaps not the most well-known place on this list, but it offers a great panoramic view of Paris and of course the Eiffel Tower.
