Le Chien de Pavlov

Le Chien de Pavlov is a lively and contemporary bistro situated in the heart of Vieux Bordeaux. The menu changes by season depending on what ingredients are fresh and available, but the prices always remain relatively similar and for the excellent quality of the food, the dishes are generally good value for money. Since its opening, it has become an extremely popular restaurant / cocktail bar that is incredibly difficult to get a table at. The restaurant is open every day for lunch, except for Sunday when it’s closed the whole day, however it is only open for dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday. It transforms into a fashionable speakeasy on the other nights. The lunch menu is very good value for money for a high quality gastronomic restaurant at just €20 for starter, main and dessert.

    Le Bouchon Bordelais

    Le Bouchon Bordelais is a popular bistro with a warm, friendly atmosphere in the heart of Bordeaux. The market-driven menu is constructed seasonally based off the local products the chef manages to get. Chef Frédéric Vigouroux creates a very inventive menu that never disappoints. You can get a starter and a main here in the evening for €33, which is pretty well priced for his delicious creations. Le Bouchon Bordelais is a great place to eat during your time in Bordeaux.
