The restaurant is open every day for lunch, except for Sunday when it’s closed the whole day, however it is only open for dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday. It transforms into a fashionable speakeasy on the other nights. The lunch menu is very good value for money for a high quality gastronomic restaurant at just €20 for starter, main and dessert.

Le Bouchon Bordelais is a popular bistro with a warm, friendly atmosphere in the heart of Bordeaux. The market-driven menu is constructed seasonally based off the local products the chef manages to get. Chef Frédéric Vigouroux creates a very inventive menu that never disappoints. You can get a starter and a main here in the evening for €33, which is pretty well priced for his delicious creations. Le Bouchon Bordelais is a great place to eat during your time in Bordeaux.

This one star Michelin restaurant, situated in the basement of l’Opéra National, offers a new and unique dining experience. Chef Philippe Etchebest breaks down the normal codes of gastronomy, offering a unique table with 12 seats facing the kitchen, so that you can fully experience all aspects of the dining experience, from the preparation to eating. You watch the seven courses unfold in front of you. The menu is built according to what the chef likes, the season and the market. This restaurant offers a gastronomic experience of high quality with good food guaranteed.
