1. Mon École My School

Our first selection is Mon École My School, which is an independent private school run by a non-profit organization. My School accepts students aged 2 to 11 years old throughout the year for those families arriving in Toulouse at any period of the academic year. Courses are bilingual and taught both in French and in English with My School following the French Common Core of Knowledge and Skills Curriculum from 2016 and using the Cambridge English method to teach English as a supplemental language.

2. English31

Next we have English31, which is also run by a non-profit organization, however it is not a private school. Teachers are employed by the English31 non-profit and are paid from the membership fees of the families attending these schools. English31 offers bilingual classes for students aged 5 to 18 years old with campuses in Colomiers, just west of Toulouse proper. Luckily for families that are moving long-term with their children, English31 offers a primary/elementary school, a collège/middle school, and a lycéé/high school, so you can be assured that your children will stay in the same system and your high school student will have the opportunity to not only take the French Baccalaureate (OIB) but also the British end of year exams (IGCSEs).

    3. International School of Toulouse (INTST)

    L’International School of Toulouse offers the widest age range of students from 3 to 18 years old, and includes a preschool, a primary/elementary school, a collège/middle school, and a lycée/high school. INTST opened its doors in 1999 and teaches courses in both French and English, while also offering the opportunity of learning a third language to their students. The International School of Toulouse offers students the opportunity to take both the British end of year exams (IGCSEs) as well as the French Baccalaureate (OIB). INTST was also awarded full accreditation status by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) in June of 2011.

    International Montessori School offers a truly bilingual experience for preschool and primary/elementary school children in Grenade just north of Toulouse proper.
