Where to watch the Women’s World Cup in Paris

This year, the FIFA Women’s World Cup is being held in stadiums across France, including at the Parc de Princes right here in Paris. Having kicked off with France vs South Korea on 7th June, the tournament will last a month, with the final taking place on 7th July in Lyon.

Parc de Princes Paris

There’s no better place to watch the Women’s World Cup than live at the stadium, and you can do that right here in Paris. The Parc de Princes stadium hosted the opening game, and there are still a few tickets left for upcoming group matches. Here are the games being held in Paris:
 
10th June – Argentina vs Japan (Group D)
13th June – South Africa vs China (Group B)
16th June – USA vs Chile (Group F)
19th June – Scotland vs Argentina (Group D)
24th June – round of 16
28th June – quarter-final

Les Halles – FIFA Fan Experience Village

This year, Chatelet Les Halles is hosting the FIFA Fan Experience Village. There are two huge screens up in the Jardin Nelson Mandela showing all the matches, and the outdoor space has capacity for 10,000 people. The atmosphere here is almost like going to see the game live, and with the added bonus that it’s absolutely free.

Belushi’s Paris

This international chain of bars are known for screening major sporting events, and the FIFA Women’s World Cup is no exception. You will find all the games streamed at the two Belushi’s in Paris, and post match parties too.

The Auld Alliance

There are several pubs and bars that will be streaming the major matches (particularly those where France are playing, and the quarter-final, semi-final and final). One is The Auld Alliance, a Scottish style pub in the 4th arrondissement. Join the locals for a pint and watch the match à la British.

Café de la Presse

Café de la Presse will be showing all of France’s group matches and the quarter-final, semi-final and final on a giant screen. This large multi-level bar with a terrace is a great place to get together with friends and watch the game.

Le Point Ephemère

Le Point Ephemère hosts everything from concerts to exhibitions, and this June and July it’s also screening all the main Women’s World Cup matches. The space is huge, and there is even a garden-like terrace where guests can eat and drink in a relaxed setting – perfect for the football season.

Noisy-le-Grand town hall

As with the Men’s World Cup last year, Noisy-le-Grand on the outskirts of Paris will be setting up screens outside the town hall airing all the major matches to hundreds of viewers. It might be further from the centre of the city, but its sure to be a great atmosphere.
