Eligible Renovation Works for MaPrimeRénov’ (MPR) in 2025

To combat energy-inefficient housing (classified F and G), the French government introduced MaPrimeRénov’ (MPR), a financial aid program for energy renovation, available to both homeowners and landlords. Updated in 2025, it aims to encourage efficient and sustainable renovation projects.
What is MaPrimeRénov’?
Launched in 2020, MaPrimeRénov’ merges the former Energy Transition Tax Credit (CITE) and the “Habiter Mieux” grant from the French National Housing Agency (Anah). Its goal: to eliminate energy-inefficient properties, also known as “thermal sieves,” from the housing market. The amount of aid is based on your household income, the type of work performed, and the resulting energy improvement.
