1. Boneshaker Doughnuts

Boneshaker Doughnuts is located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris and hopes to bring the American tradition of doughnuts to Paris while fusing American and French Pastry techniques in their creations! Their doughnut making process takes 18 hours from start to finish because they are raised yeast doughnuts, and they use local French products in all of their recipes, including free-range eggs and seasonal ingredients! All of this to bring you flavors like Beach Haven: a classic cinnamon and sugar doughnut; The O.G.: the original glazed; and Boneshaker Cream: a doughnut with chocolate cardamom glaze and vanilla pastry cream filling.

2. Humm… Donuts

Humm… Donuts is here (in the 9th arrondissement of Paris) to bring you their donuts à la françaises or french style donuts! They opened in July of 2016 after the idea came to the owner during a chemistry study trip to India! The donut flavors change every month to bring you 10 new flavors such as: Cinnamon vanilla glaze; the classic Boston Cream; Fruity Coconut: a coconut glazed donut with dried cranberries, raspberries, and coconut shavings; Tropical Nutella: a nutella glazed donut with banana chips; and the Pomme Tatin: an apple glazed donut with caramalized apples, crumble, and vanilla chantilly cream!

3. American Corner

American Corner is different from the other shops on this list because it isn’t a bakery, nor is it specifically dedicated to doughnuts. American Corner is a restaurant that specializes in American food like bagels and hot dogs in the heart of Paris, however, they also have a café section and menu where Americans, tourists, and the French alike can all come and find traditional American sweet treats like muffins, cookies, and, of course, DOUGHNUTS!

4. The French Bastards

The French Bastards is a bakery in the 11th arrondissement of Paris and is relatively new to the scene. Run by three bakers / pastry chefs they specialize in traditional French bread and pastry but with modern flavors. They pride themselves on using natural and locally sourced ingredients in their vast array of both savory and sweet treats, which include the classic French beignet: a donut which usually has either a chocolate, jam, or cream filling!

5. Mamiche

Mamiche is another well known bakery here in Paris which specializes in a variety of snacks, treats, and breads both sweet and savory at affordable prices! Owners/bakers/pastry chefs Cécile Khayat and Victoria Effantin use traditional French recipes for all of their items, including their delicious beignets which you can find filled with chocolate, an array of fruit jams, or a delicious cream!
