Day trips around Paris: Parc Astérix
Fancy a fun day out with the kids but can’t face the lines at Disneyland? Why not head on over to Parc Astérix instead? This popular theme park, which is based on the cult French comic stories, The Adventures of Asterix, is located just 35km north of Paris.

Opening times: vary according to season. The park is open from March until November, and opening hours are usually 10:00-18:00. There are some extended hours during the summer months.
