Where to learn French in Paris?

Alliance Française
Alliance Française is a language school offering FLE (French as a foreign language) classes all year round. They have classes for all levels, ranging from A1 to C1, from as little as €13 an hour. They also have special courses designed for expats who have just arrived in the city and are new to the French language. The majority of classes are held on weekday afternoons, but there are evening classes available as well.

Campus Langues
Campus Langues offers a range of different French classes depending on your level. They have evening classes from €29 a week. If you have a busy schedule and don’t have enough time to attend classes, you could try their online Skype classes. This gives you access to one to one sessions with your own private French tutor and is a great way to improve your spoken and written French.

Association Philotechnique
The Association Philotechnique is another good place to try for affordable FLE lessons in Paris. With prices starting from as little as €55, you can’t go wrong! They have a range of classes available at different levels, from A1 to B2/C1, so you can choose the class which best suits your level. You can register for classes online. They have two locations: one in the 5th arrondissement and one in Boulogne-Billancourt.

WICE
WICE is an English speaking community which offers French classes throughout the year. It’s a great place to meet some fellow expats if you’re new to the city. Classes are small and range from beginner to advanced levels. You can sign up online and need to complete a placement test first to determine your level before starting.

Mairie de Paris
These classes are offered by the mairie de Paris and are open to anyone over the age of 18 living in Paris. There are both evening and day classes available in many locations across Paris. You can attend the evening FLE classes for €140 per semester. You have to register online and can sign up for a maximum of three classes.
Note: these classes are very popular and so make sure you sign up as soon as possible, as they tend to fill up quickly!
