Paris hasn’t always been a home of speciality coffee:<\/strong> traditionally the French prefer to drink their coffee in the form of an espresso while sat outside a pavement cafe. However, in recent years, the coffee trend that started in New Zealand and Australia has made its way to the French capital, and speciality coffee shops have been popping up around the city.<\/strong> The coffee doesn\u2019t tend to be cheap; you can expect to pay around 4 or 5 euros for a latte, but this hefty price tag is worth it for a really delicious hot drink. To help you decide where to visit, here are some of our favourite speciality coffee shops in Paris.<\/strong>

Caf\u00e9 Kitsun\u00e9: 1st arrondissement<\/h2>\n

In our personal opinion, this might be the best tasting cup of coffee in Paris<\/strong>\u2026 A bold claim, but there\u2019s something about it that is just spot on. There\u2019s very limited space to sit inside Caf\u00e9 Kitsun\u00e9, but its location at the edge of the Palais Royale<\/strong> means you can get your coffee to take-away and enjoy it sat by the fountain. As for the selection of cakes, we would highly recommend their chocolate cookies.
