Sainte-Marie Grand Lebrun<\/em> also gives students the opportunity to stay in the same school system by offering a primary \/ elementary school, a coll\u00e8ge (middle school), and a lyc\u00e9e (high \/ secondary school) and gives them the chance to have a truly international education by beginning lessons in English in 1st grade (CP)<\/strong> while also offering courses in Spanish, German, and Russian. 3. Bordeaux International School (BIS)<\/h2>\n

Next we have the Bordeaux International School<\/em>, which is a private school with a preschool, a primary \/ elementary school, a coll\u00e8ge (middle school), and a lyc\u00e9e (high \/ secondary school) that opened its doors in 1987 and aims to equip their students (aged 3 years old to 18 years old)<\/strong> with a level of fluency in at least two languages (generally French and English) to encourage face to face interaction with pupils of different nationalities and thus promote an appreciation of diverse cultures. Luckily this international school accepts new students all throughout the academic year<\/strong> for those who are moving to Bordeaux at any point. Lyc\u00e9e<\/em> (high school) Fran\u00e7ois Magendie<\/em> is particularly known for its language and design programs and gives each student the opportunity to participate in multiple linguistic sections in a large selection of languages such as: English, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew, Russian, Latin, and Ancient Greek to create a truly multilingual class and to help each student succeed anywhere in the world. Lyc\u00e9e Fran\u00e7ois Magendie<\/em> also offers 2 OIB (international baccalaureate option) sections: American and Spanish.<\/strong> OIB options are created by the French state in order to coincide not only with French education standards but with those set forward by the other countries involved in each section, such as the United States for the American section.
