This can be a difficult process due to the limitations in contact suggested by the French government but <strong>Lodgis has set up a process to help you during this inevitable step in the moving process<\/strong> while still protecting your health and the health of the owner.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<h2Things to do before moving in:<\/h2>\n<li>Handing over the keys and signing the \u201cstate of the premises\u201d document <strong>must be organized ahead of time by the owner<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<li>We suggest that you <strong>organize this meeting with the owner at a neutral space<\/strong> that you agree upon beforehand in order to avoid unnecessary movement during confinement. <\/li>\n<li>Before leaving, <strong>print the \u201cNecessary Travel Certificate\u201d <\/strong>and check the box \u201cNecessary Family Reasons\u201d. If you don\u2019t have access to a printer, you can hand write the document on a piece of regular paper. Click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interieur.gouv.fr\/Actualites\/L-actu-du-Ministere\/Attestation-de-deplacement-derogatoire-et-justificatif-de-deplacement-professionnel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a> to download it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bring your rental contract <\/strong>with you.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bring your own pen<\/strong> to sign the \u201cstate of the premises\u201d document and to sign for your keys.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bring hand sanitizer <\/strong>if you have it.<\/li>\n<p>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<h2>Things to do during your move in<\/h2>\n<li><strong>Keep a safe distance<\/strong> of at least 1 meter (3 feet\/ 36 inches) from the owner and avoid all physical contact with them.<\/li>\n<li>The owner will hand over <strong>the (disinfected) keys <\/strong>in an envelope.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The owner will NOT accompany you<\/strong> into the apartment.<\/li>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Things to do after you move in:<\/h2>\n<li><strong>Wash your hands<\/strong> after this exchange (just in case).<\/li>\n<li>Once you\u2019ve moved in, <strong>you have 10 days to inform the owner of any changes or damages<\/strong> that need to be made to the \u201cstate of the premises\u201d document. <\/li>\n<p>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>[eltd_highlight background_color=&#8221;#FF5722&#8243; color=&#8221;#FFF&#8221;]Just a reminder:[\/eltd_highlight][eltd_custom_font content_custom_font=&#8221;the goal of this confinement is to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to protect the health of everyone but especially those who are the most susceptible to contracting the virus. We must all work together and follow the directions and advice given by the government in order for this to work.
