Send your notice letter<\/h2>\n<p>The first step when leaving a rental is to notify your landlord. This must be done via:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bailiff service<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hand delivery with signed acknowledgment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> A simple email has no legal value unless the landlord formally confirms acceptance in writing.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Respect the notice period<\/h2>\n<p>The notice period starts upon receipt of your letter.
