Historically, it is the most commonly used line as it links the largest number of Parisian monuments!<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2> Line 4<\/h2>\n<p>Line 4 starts at Porte de Clignancourt, crosses Ch\u00e2teau Rouge (near the Sacr\u00e9-C\u0153ur on the Butte Montmartre), Ch\u00e2telet and Cit\u00e9, where you can access the Ile de la Cit\u00e9. The following station, Saint-Michel station, is located next to Notre Dame, before line 4 continues to Saint-Germain-des-Pr\u00e8s and <a title=\"Montparnasse tower website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tourmontparnasse56.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Montparnasse<\/a> and its amazing tower.<br \/>\nCrossing Paris from North to East, line 4 was created a hundred years ago. It is the only metro line that connects to all the other lines (metro and RER). Line 7 crosses Paris northeast to southeast.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2> Line 9<\/h2>\n<p>Line 9 joins many places where famous monuments are located, such as the Trocad\u00e9ro, Alma Marceau (Pont de l&#8217;Alma), Franklin D. Roosevelt (on the Champs Elys\u00e9es), Chauss\u00e9e d&#8217;Antin-La Fayette (next to the Galeries Lafayette department store), R\u00e9publique (near the Canal Saint- Martin) and Nation.<br \/>\nLine 9 is one of the longest metro lines and one of the most used in Paris. It links the southern suburbs to western Paris. It is ranked 4th of all the Metro lines by the RATP (R\u00e9gie Autonome des Transports Parisiens).<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2> Line 13<\/h2>\n<p>Line 13 serves important stations particularly for tourists, such as Montparnasse Bienven\u00fce, Invalides, Champs-Elys\u00e9es-Clemenceau, Saint-Lazare, Place de Clichy and the Basilique Saint Denis.<br \/>\nLine 13 is the longest metro line in the Parisian network (24.3km). The line links the northeastern and northwestern suburbs to southern Paris. It is the newest line on the Paris Metro network. Line 14 runs across Paris from northwest to southeast.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2> Line 12<\/h2>\n<p>Line 12 joins Montparnasse Bienven\u00fce, Rue du Bac, Assembl\u00e9e Nationale, Concorde, Madeleine, Saint Lazare, Pigalle and Abbesses (in the heart of Montmartre).<br \/>\nLine 12 links northern Paris to southwestern Paris.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2> Line 8<\/h2>\n<p>Line 8 joins Bastille, R\u00e9publique, Op\u00e9ra, Madeleine, Concorde, Invalides.<br \/>\nLine 8 exclusively serves southern Paris. It runs through eastern and western Paris. It serves the Eastern Paris area.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2> Line 2<\/h2>\n<p>Line 2 serves the stations of Nation, P\u00e8re Lachaise (the famous cemetery), Anvers (the ideal station to visit the Sacr\u00e9-C\u0153ur and the Butte Montmartre), Pigalle where you can find the famous Moulin rouge, Charles de Gaulle \u00c9toile (Arc de Triomphe).<br \/>\nLine 2 was the second metro line to be built in the capital. Crossing Northern Paris on a semi-circular trajectory, line 2 was opened in 1903 and is 12.4 km long.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/moulin-rouge.jpg\" alt=\"moulin-rouge-montmartre\" width=\"350\" height=\"263\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8697\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.lodgis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/moulin-rouge.jpg 350w, https:\/\/blog.lodgis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/moulin-rouge-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Line 6<\/h2>\n<p>Line 6 crosses serves Charles de Gaulle \u00c9toile (Arc de Triomphe), the Trocad\u00e9ro, Bir Hakeim &#8211; Champs de Mars (Eiffel Tower), Gare Montparnasse and Nation.<br \/>\nWith a semi-circular path like line 2, line 6 crosses southern Paris. With 45% of its rail track above ground, using line 2 means\u00a0 you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower when the train runs between Passy and Bir Hakeim stations over the Seine.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Line 3<\/h2>\n<p>Line 3 serves Saint Lazare, Op\u00e9ra, Bourse, R\u00e9publique, P\u00e8re Lachaise (the biggest cemetery of Paris).<br \/>\nLine 3 links the Western suburbs (Levallois) to Eastern Paris. It is a heavily used line because it crosses the Saint Lazare, Grands Magasins and Opera neighborhoods, and the Levallois and Bourse business districts.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Line 10<\/h2>\n<p>The most important stations reached by Line 10 are Gare d&#8217;Austerlitz, Od\u00e9on (Saint-Germain-des-Pr\u00e9s), Cluny La Sorbonne (Quartier Latin), S\u00e8vres-Babylone (with its famous Bon March\u00e9).<br \/>\nLine 10&#8217;s rail track and route have changed a lot over the years. Formerly, line 10 was lines 7, 8 and line 13. It crosses the Seine&#8217;s left bank in South Paris.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2> Line 11<\/h2>\n<p>Line 11 only serves these three famous stations: Ch\u00e2telet, H\u00f4tel de Ville, R\u00e9publique.<br \/>\nLine 11 links central Paris to northeastern Paris&#8217; outskirts (Saint Denis).
