Museum Week is taking place this week on Twitter! It’s an international digital campaign<\/strong> involving more than 2000 museums<\/strong> in sixty different countries. From 23rd March until 29th March 2015, #MuseumWeek will aim to help the young digital generation <\/strong> discover works of art.
\n 
\nA museum on Twitter, a pretty original idea! The idea is to use the hashtag #MuseumWeek so that participating museums can gain more of a following on social networks and get more members to subscribe to their news throughout the year.
\n 
\nParis and its museums are hugely important<\/strong> during this event because more than 60 of them are taking part in #MuseumWeek! This includes some of biggest, like the la Biblioth\u00e8que nationale de France<\/a> (National Library of France), the Pompidou Center<\/a> and even the mus\u00e9e du Louvre<\/a> but also some more unusual museums, such as the Mus\u00e9e des Poup\u00e9es et des Nounours<\/a> (Museum of Dolls and Teddy Bears) and the Mus\u00e9e du li\u00e8ge et du bouchon<\/a> (the Cork Museum).

\nThe week is organized by themes that change each day. Here’s the program!<\/strong>

Secrets<\/h2>\n

Don’t museums keep their best secrets well-hidden? A unicorn painting inspired by a drawing of a puppy and even hidden portraits. What better way to begin that by discovering these treasures!

Photo archives, key moments,…on 24th March 2015 the museums will honor the great exhibitions and events that have marked their history. <\/p>\n
