1. The Houses of Parliament

The Houses of Parliament is a quintessentially English pub located on Rue Parlement Sainte-Catherine. They are well known for their selection of draught and bottle beers and even offers events, such as live music, karaoke, and quiz nights. So don’t wait to go with friends and grab a beer.

    2. Madame Pang

    Going to Madame Pang will instantly transport you to China and make you feel like you’ve walked into Hong Kong. This restaurant and bar is a fusion of traditional Cantonese influences with the modern culinary scene of Hong Kong. The food on the restaurant’s menu is absolutely delicious but Madame Pang is well known for its impressive cocktail and wine lists. Madame Pang is open every day to welcome you from 7pm to 1am.

    3. Bar à Vin

    The Bar à Vin is a wine bar in the heart of Bordeaux, the wine capital! They have a selection of 30 local Bordeaux red, white, rosé and sparkling wines to try and are able to offer expert advice and information about the wines themselves. They are connected to the local Ecole du Vin, the best known wine school in the area, so you know you’re in good hands for a great wine tasting. And don’t forget to order a traditional French pairing for your wine, cheese! Le Bar à Vin is open every day to welcome you for a tasting from 11am to 10pm.

    4. HMS Victory

    HMS Victory is the sister pub of the Houses of Parliament, so another traditional English style pub that offers a similar menu, but on a much larger scale. This bar has a massive two floors of indoor seating and an impressive 100 seat terrace to welcome as many people into their friendly and laidback atmosphere to hang out and grab a beer as possible.

    5. Les Chantiers de la Garonne

    Les Chantiers de la Garonne is known for having the best outdoor terrace in Bordeaux, so it’s a must-visit during the summer months for the ambiance, the drinks, and the seafood! There is a definite nautical feel as this bar lies inside of a former storage shed that used to house ships on the banks of the Garonne River. So while you are strolling near the river, don’t forget to stop here for a beer, some wine, a cocktail, or just some good food and a gorgeous view of the Garonne.

    Le CanCan is a relatively new, speakeasy style bar in Bordeaux that is accessible via a small phone booth! Once you manage to “sneak” inside, you’ll find vintage décor and signature cocktails to pass the time as well as a downstairs bar and DJ area for dancing!

    7. La Comtesse

    Looking for a fun and vibrant nightlife atmosphere? Look no further than La Comtesse, a bar like no other! The first thing you’ll notice are the pink flamingos that decorate the doorway, so you’ll know you’re in the right place. And the eccentricity doesn’t stop there, this bar is known for its creative drinks, vibrant colors, unique ambiance, quirky vibe, and offers the BEST mojito in Bordeaux. And the best part? La Comtesse is open every day from 5pm to 2am!

    8. Symbiose

    Symbiose is a bistronomic restaurant with an amazing menu by day but a speakeasy at night, located in the heart of the city! And was voted best bar in France by Le Fooding in 2017. Access the bar by entering behind the beautiful Comtoise clock and test their original cocktail list, curated by the owners Simon and Lucas.

    King Kong Bar was created after a trip to Bali to bring the jungle atmosphere to Bordeaux and offers that feeling to anyone who visits.
