The «no go zones» in Paris are safer than ever!
In Paris, the recently opened Brasserie Barbès, which is located in the heart of the Montmartre neighborhood, serves great cocktails and delicious food to be enjoyed overlooking the Parisian rooftops.
As you will be fully aware, following the attacks that took place in France in January 2015, the American TV station Fox News branded certain areas of Paris “no go zones” (See this Article from Le Monde).
The Brasserie Barbés is situated in this so-called « no go zone » and is proof to Parisians, the French and foreigners alike that this is a safe area to visit.
This new restaurant offers 750 m² of space in which to relax and enjoy yourself. Homemade bread, coffee, a cocktail bar, a real chimney and even a solarium are waiting for you!
A beautifully hidden Parisian treasure!
From the exterior, Brasserie Barbès isn’t particularly inviting, with its post-industrial architecture that embodies the district of Barbès. However, once you go through the door you’ll be met with hospitality.
